Anita Erskine is a distinguished Media and Communications Entrepreneur with over two decades of experience in Strategic Communications and Television Content Development. As the Executive Director of Anita Erskine Communications, she employs storytelling and communication tools to tackle critical issues such as women’s leadership, digital advancement, and youth employment. Her impactful work extends to her role as an impact investor in female-led tech start-ups across Africa.

Anita's career began in 1997 in Ghana, and she has since gained international acclaim, hosting and producing programs for DSTV’s MNET Africa, Ghana’s TV3, and Canada’s Flow 93.5FM. Her flagship production, "Anita Erskine's Sheroes," has a global viewership of over 15 million, showcasing women's leadership and innovation.

Renowned for her exceptional skills in live event hosting, Anita has facilitated over 500 high-profile events worldwide, including summits, conferences, and diplomatic receptions for esteemed clients like the United Nations and the World Bank Group. She is also the official host of Africa’s Business Heroes, where she supports and trains over 100 entrepreneurs annually.

Anita’s advocacy aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Under the Anita Erskine Initiative, she leads impactful projects such as the Women’s Elevation Fund (2018) supporting SDG 4 and SDG 5, the STEM Woman Project (2019) fostering engagement between women in STEM and young female students, and the Leading Voice Fellowship (2024) empowering young women leaders through communication training.

Anita Erskine has been ranked one of the top 100 Career Women Africa in 2024, twice named among the 100 Most Influential Women in Africa, and among the 500 most influential Africans around the world. She is one of the top 100 Women CEOs in Africa, acknowledged as one of the Most Distinguished Change Makers (Women) in Africa, and in 2023 was ranked among Africa's top 50 Most Impactful Voices, cementing her role as a storyteller of repute. In 2024, she was recognized as one of the top 200 creators on LinkedIn by Favikon. Anita is the recipient of the 2021 Trent University Alumni of the Year award for dedicating her work to advocating for youth inclusion and women empowerment.

 Her academic credentials include a Master’s in Communications Management from McMaster University and a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Studies from Trent University.
