Cherifatou Agoumo is a specialist in innovation program management in both development and humanitarian areas. She is currently West Regional Innovation and Technology advisor at CARE USA.

She has years of expertise in fintech, digital literacy programs, agritech, renewable energy, edtech, women economic justice, gender justice, water and sanitation.  

She is an active associative person; she is the vice-president of Niger Fintech Association and Lead-Women Empowerment and Financial Inclusion at AFF.

Cherifatou has extensive knowledge of the West Africa Innovation Ecosystem and a strong partnership experience with social enterprises, incubators, government, and civil society organizations.

Cherifatou is speaker on women empowerment, fintech and financial inclusion topics. She is an engineer with master’s degree and background in digital.  She holds a certification in Digital Money from Fletcher School.
