As a co-founder of Jumia, an e-commerce platform that is now a household name in Africa, Jeremy is a strategic and impact-driven Executive Officer. With a determination to change the fabric of life in Africa through e-commerce, he helped grow Jumia to 5,000 employees and achieve an IPO on the NYSE.
As the company grew, he took on the complexity of leading a public company by serving on the Management Board, and focusing on corporate governance, investor relations, financial and legal matters, ESG, and risk and audit processes.
Jeremy now serves as Board Member as well as Investment Committee member of some incredible organisations, as well as helping McKinsey as a Senior Advisor. He is also running a family business, bringing change to a traditional industry in the Middle East.
