Mariam Cassim is the Chief Executive Officer of Vodacom Financial and Digital Services and a member of the Vodacom Group’s Executive Committee. Her professional experience includes corporate finance and deal structuring, mergers and acquisitions, debt structuring, and commercial evaluation. She now holds full CEO responsibility. Under her leadership, Vodacom Financial and Digital Services transformed from a loss-making business to a multi-billion rand profit entity, contributing 10% of Vodacom Group’s overall profits.

Mariam's flair for innovation, disruption, and new business development allows her to generate creative business solutions with a strong purpose, benefiting both the business and society. She is also a Chartered Accountant.
