Prior to DPI, Aladdin was a Principal at Global Ventures, a Dubai-based VC, where he led the firm's investment activities in scale-ups across the Middle East, Africa, and Pakistan. Aladdin comes from a European venture capital background, having worked on growth-stage deals across the US, EU, and Southeast Asia with AllianzX, the digital investment arm of Allianz SE, and Deutsche Telekom Capital Partners, the VC / PE arm of Deutsche Telekom. Before transitioning to VC, Aladdin was an operator working for multiple Berlin-based startups, primarily in the FinTech and HealthTech domains.
