Sabah al-Binali Is the Chief Capital Markets Officer at Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), where his role is to provide strategic leadership for the ADX capital markets function to drive growth, innovation, operational excellence, and enhance global competitiveness. With 25 years of distinguished service in the financial sector, Dr. al-Binali has deep insights into investment strategies, risk and treasury management, and corporate governance practices. He joined ADX from OurCrowd where he served as a Partner and Executive Chairman, driving strategic initiatives and fostering collaborative partnerships. Prior to this, he founded Universal Strategy and excelled in various C-level positions. He has had a tenure as Chief Investment Officer at Shuaa Capital and Saffar Capital in various GCC countries including the UAE and Saudi Arabia for 15 years. Dr. AlBinali holds a PhD, master’s and bachelor’s degree in computer science from Columbia University and Princeton University respectively.
